The Jeppe Charity Hat Walk / Run has become an annual event that each Jeppe Athletics member looks forward to. This event began in December 2005 and has grown in size each year. In 2007 we had 500 runners and walkers taking part in this special event. The aim of this event is to support two local charities that are in need and to give back to our community and those less fortunate than ourselves. [ Read More ]
Jeppe has a program in place to assist previously disadvantaged individuals (PDI’s) in their running aspirations. Our quota is 15 athletes, and we sponsor them as follows: The annual club fees are paid by the Athletic section / Main Club. Upon joining Jeppe Quondam, 1 pair of regulation shorts and 1 running vest are supplied, thereafter kit is replaced every two years.
